Secara kebetulan saya telah melayari laman web Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka dan terjumpa akan perkakasan maya Carian Spesifik Kamus/Istilah. Maka saya telah memasukkan carian untuk perkataan “blog” dan inilah hasil carian tersebut.
Sila war-warkan kepada semua bahawa istilah yang betul dan tepat untuk seorang penulis blog mengikut piawaian DBP adalah pemblog.
Memandangkan blog ini adalah blog Bahasa Melayu dan menggunakan Bahasa Melayu sebagai bahasa pengantara, maka saya mengambil keputusan untuk “meMelayukan” WordPress dengan menggunakan pakej terjemahan Bahasa Melayu untuk sistem WordPress. Proses ini sudah pun berjaya dan kini saya mengendalikan laman web ini dengan antaramuka yang 90% menggunakan kosa kata dalam Bahasa Melayu.
Agak kekok pada mulanya untuk melihat perkataan-perkataan seperti “Papan Pemuka” (Dashboard), “Pautan” (Links), “Pemalam” (Plugins) dan sebagainya…tetapi alah bisa, tegal biasa.
