Dave Katragadda foundation for the poor
It is not easy to find philanthropists who are willing to help the poor and destitute improve their lives and bring change to the world. There are many poor regions in the world’s populous nations including China and even India Well, Dave Katragadda foundation is an Indian-based NGO which focus is to provide services for villages and help remote villages achieve development. Towards this end, they have started several e-governance programmes and several villages have already received the benefit of such programmes.
The foundation is the initiative of Dave Katragadda (Devi Prasad Katragadda) and his brother Krishna Prasad Katragadda and have came up with various ideas for developing Indian villages. These include having tele-medicine services via broadband Internet, as well as providing villagers with improved techniques in farming and related skills. Through the leadership of Dave Katragadda the programme is expected to achieve much success and we hope more individuals like him will come up with new ideas to improve the world and make it a better place to live in.
